- Hello and welcome to my little spot in this big world of cyberspace where you will see and hopefully enjoy the tidbits I will be posting. Feel free to visit my place as often as you like. I am new at this, so please be patient as I arrange and re-arrange items while I also add progress of my most recent quilt tops. At times I will share some dessert recipes that I and might I add my hubby, like to try from my mother's old cookbook and from around the world as I search for new ideas for satisfying our sweet tooth. I am a polio survivor that contracted the virus in 1952 at the age of 22 months. I received numerous surgeries and rehabilitation at the Shriner's Hospital in Montreal, Quebec. I am now enjoying retirement after 29 years of working for the local telephone company.
